THE PROSPECT   PARK   AND   SOUTH   BROOKLYN   RAILROAD   WAS   INCORPORATED   JUNE   15   1888   AND   RAN   FROM   GRAVESEND   AVENUE   TO   NINTH   AVENUE   WHERE   IT   CONNECTED   WITH   THE   BROOKLYN,   BATH  &  WEST   END   RAILROAD.

IT   BECAME   PART   OF   THE   ROUTE   BETWEEN   GRAVESEND   AVENUE   AND   UNION   DEPOT   AND LATER   THE   39th   STREET   FERRY.   IT   WAS   USED   BY   PROSPECT   PARK   &   CONEY   ISLAND   AND   LONG   ISLAND   RAIL   ROAD   TRAINS.

IT   BECAME   THE   CULVER   SHUTTLE   WHEN   THE   CULVER   LINE
WAS   CONNECTED   WITH   THE   IND   OCTOBER  30,   1954.
