AT FIRST THE LOCOMOTIVES WERE DUMMY TANK ENGINES.


LATER THE LOCOMOTIVES WERE STANDARD TANK ENGINES.
THIS ONE IS A SADDLE-TANK TYPE.




BENSONHURST   STATION   IN   1892
BY THIS TIME THE ENGINES HAD FOUR-WHEEL TENDERS.


ON NOVEMBER 25, 1885 THE B.B.& C.I. WAS REORGANIZED
AS THE BROOKLYN, BATH & WEST END




IN 1887 TRAINS BEGAN RUNNING TO THE 39TH STREET FERRY
