IN 1899 AN INTERLOCKING WAS BUILT AT EMMONS (NEPTUNE) AVENUE AND THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH WAS CONNECTED WITH THE BRIGHTON LINE AND THE NEPTUNE AVENUE TROLLEY LINE ALLOWING B.R.T. TRAINS AND TROLLEYS TO RUN TO MANHATTAN BEACH.
A STATION WAS ESTABLISHED AND PEOPLE CHANGED TO AND FROM ELEVATED CARS AND TROLLEYS
