GENERAL ORDER NUMBER 31 DATED MAY 17, 1906 ESTABLISHED AN ABSOLUTE TELEGRAPHIC BLOCK BETWEEN MANHATTAN BEACH JUNCTION AND PARKVILLE ON THE BAY RIDGE DIVISION EFFECTIVE MAY 21 THROUGH 26 AND JUNE 7 THROUGH 20. ON THOSE DATES RACES WERE RUN AT CONEY ISLAND JOCKEY CLUB AND LONG ISLAND TRAINS RAN THERE VIA THE PROSPECT PARK & CONEY ISLAND RAIL ROAD FROM PARKVILLE. TOWER 75 IN FOREGROUND AND 74 1/2 IN DISTANCE. MANHATTAN BEACH JUNCTION THE DOUBLE TRACK CONNECTION TO BAY RIDGE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO ONE TRACK. 1910 - THE NEW STATION, NEW ALIGNMENT OF THE MANHATTAN BEACH BRANCH TRACKS, ALL TRACKS DEPRESSED AND THE TOWER IS STILL THERE. THE NEW TOWER WAS GIVEN THE NUMBER 75 FROM MANHATTAN BEACH JUNCTION TOWER. JULY 12 1906 LOOKING SOUTH - WE SEE SIGNALS, PIPELINE, SWITCHES, DETECTOR BARS AND FACING POINT LOCKS OPERATED FROM TOWER 75. THE EASTWARD TRACK STILL OCCUPIES ITS ORIGINAL RIGHT OF WAY. THE WESTWARD TRACK HAS BEEN RE-ALIGNED. EIGHTY YEARS LATER THIS SIGNAL TRUNKING, MANY CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS AND A LENGTH OF PIPELINE REMAINED.
