IN THE 1920'S AND 1930'S REGULAR BAGGAGE TRAINS WERE RUN TO AND FROM MONTAUK
THIS BAGGAGE TRAIN BEHIND A K4 INCLUDES TWO B-40 BAGGS
THE FISH TRAIN
1914 B-40 BAGGAGE CARS 657 and 658 WERE EQUIPPED WITH
ICE TRAYS FOR KEEPING COLD THE FISH THAT WERE CAUGHT.
THE ARCH BAR TRUCKS HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH STANDARD P-54, T-54 TRUCKS.
IN THE 1930'S RICHIE HARRISON PHOTOGRAPHED THE FISH TRAIN LEAVING MONTAUK
CENTRAL ISLIP STATE HOSPITAL ENGINE 03 WITH A B-40 BAGG AND TRAIN CREW:

HE DESCRIBES THE CAR AS A THIRD RAIL SWEEPER, THE FORMER B-40 NUMBER 651
FROM DAVE KELLER THE 498846 AT EAST WILLISTON IN 1954
FORMER FISH TRAIN B-40 NUMBER 658 BECAME A STORAGE CAR AND WAS PHOTOGRAPHED IN MORRIS PARK IN OCTOBER 1951
