more grading
Ralph Randall finished the grading this morning. The topsoil had to
be smoothed out all over. The guys picked out the worst of the rocks
and debris. Usually there is none when you buy in topsoil, but we
reused our own. Brent is agitating to rock-pick and smooth out the
whole thing this weekend (since I guess he doesn't have any other work
this weekend). The guys made the entryway floor out of concrete
paving blocks. Had a bit of trouble because Eric at Merriman's didn't
give them enough edge blocks, and when they went back to get more,
they got some right-hand, and some left-hand edgers! Nobody told them
that they were handed.
