all gone
The mounds of earth, septic tank, and leach field are gone, as if they
had never existed. Ralph brought out his bulldozer as well, along
with a few truckloads of sand, and the house is completely backfilled.
The guys shifted the sand around and buried the extra horizontal
insulation a foot below the top of the sand. This, to keep the frost
level higher to protect the footers.
Stan cut 2x4s to length for the interior load-bearing partitions. And
the guys stripped the garage footer forms.
