Highlights include the American Anthropological Association in Washington, DC in 2014 and Chicago, IL in 2013; the New England Council of Latin American Studies Conference at Wheaton College in Norton, MA in 2013; the Guatemala Scholars Network Conference in Antigua, Guatemala in 2013; the 3rd Annual International Graduate Student Conference on Latin America and the Caribbean at York University in Toronto, Canada in 2013, and the Textile Society of America Biennial Symposium in Toronto, Canada in 2006.
