soffits and fascia
Underneath the overhang of a roof is some stuff. You've got your
rafter tails, that the roof overhang is over hanging on. And you've
got something that covers the rafter tails. The horizontal part is
the soffit, and the vertical part is the fascia. Before that goes on,
you have to put some framing in to hold it. THAT is what the guys did
today -- install 2x2 nailers for the soffits and fascia.
The cedar siding should have been delivered today. If not today, then
early tomorrow.
