John Thomas and Dick Palmer wrote an article on the wooden railroad for the St. Lawrence County Historical Society's journal. I have found the railbed (complete with surviving ties!) north of the Grass river. On 3/28/2004, I located the entire path of the railbed on that side of the river. I have a GPS track for it.
